It’s a great day to be a fan of games and hentai! Thanks to Kickstarter and help from fans of adult games, Studio FOW will be putting a new game on Steam. The game titled, Subverse, is a brand new tactical RPG and shoot ‘em up, set in space. You play the captain of the Mary Celeste ship, and it is up to you to build up your crew of waifus and explore the galaxy.

Studio FOW is well known for its crowdfunded projects and video game character videos. After creating 16 videos within 4 years, the hentai studio has begun working on their first full game of over 12 hours of gameplay.

During your playthrough of Subverse, you can chat, gear up, and straight up fuck your crew members. Your crew and your ship will gain upgrades as you progress through the story. While not much has been stated about Subverse’s campaign, the developers have given us some insight into two different types of combat systems.

Players will need to compete in arcade style space shooting, and turn-based, grid combat, much like Geometry Wars and XCOM. The in-space shoot ‘em up levels will have players upgrading their ship and flying around while destroying the space dickheads. Grid combat will make sure that gamers have appropriately outfitted their crew with the proper weapons and armor. Don’t worry, I am sure you will still be able to take off their gear during sexy time.

Subverse is a mash-up of a lot of great games. While the combat is based on games like Geometry Wars and XCOM, the story is looking more like Mass Effect. After every mission, you will want to talk to each waifu to see what other dialog options you have unlocked and check out new areas that have opened up in your spacecraft.

The Kickstarter campaign has already exceeded the project’s goal, so I look forward to Subverse when it comes to Steam.

Wait...there's more.
